City Directories and History: 1918 –
Known as the Wrenn-Maynard House, designed by local architect Charles William Fant, Sr. The English Colonial style home was built in 1934 for Dr. Frank Reese Wrenn, Sr., a prominent radiologist at the Anderson Memorial Hospital, and his wife Rose Helen Mickles. Dr. Wrenn was later the hospital administrator.
The home was purchased in 1951 by Judson T. and Pearl B. Minyard. For many years, Minyard ran a successful automobile agency with locations in Anderson and Greenville. The Minyards remained in the home until 2000.
The home contains eleven rooms and totals 6,500 square feet.
