The Yorkville Enquirer reported on July 22, 1880 – “The closing exercises of Ms. Lizzy Anderson’s School at Cool Branch in the Feasterville Section will be next Friday.”
The Fairfield News and Herald reported on Jan. 16, 1884 – “Mr. Thomas Chapman has secured the school at Cool Branch. The Feasterville School and Lillie McFeat School are closed without examinations and both will open in February. The Crosby Institute will re-open on Feb. 1st.”
